Patients are often referred for an abdominal (stomach) MRI scan to clarify findings from x-rays or CT scans.
The Abdominal MRI is used to look at:-
- Abdominal blood flow
- Abdominal blood vessels
- Gall stones
- Liver or kidney problems
- Abdomen lymph nodes
The Abdominal MRI can distinguish normal tissue from a tumour and can help clarify the size, severity and spread.
